NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Jan. 18, 2024) – BRINC Building Products, an award-winning continuous insulation manufacturer, is proud to announce a new partnership with Builders FirstSource to supply ThermalBuck™ and ThermalTight™ to New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
Builders FirstSource (NYSE:BLDR) is the nation’s largest building materials supplier with 580 distribution and manufacturing locations in 42 states. Among the locations now supplying ThermalBuck™ and ThermalTight™ are five in New Jersey, including its Elizabeth, Mt. Holly, Lakewood, Pleasantville, and Phillipsburg yards. The company’s Paradise, Pa. yard will supply southeastern Pennsylvania.
“Builders are facing new challenges as building codes mandate changes to building design and construction, especially in New Jersey,” said John Brooks, president of BRINC Building Products. “We are excited to offer high-performance, labor-saving solutions to builders confronting this challenge.”
In 2023, New Jersey emerged as a state on the forefront of energy efficient building codes. Since adopting the 2021 IECC energy code last year, New Jersey requires continuous (exterior) insulation for new construction in both its climate zones. Unlike traditional cavity insulation, continuous insulation eliminates thermal bridging across non-insulating materials, such as wood framing.
BRINC Building Products was founded in 2015 as a solutions-oriented company. Initially offering ThermalBuck™, an innovative mounting system for windows and doors with exterior insulation, the company launched ThermalTight™, an all-in-one solution to continuous insulation, in 2020. BRINC Building Products maintains its headquarters and manufacturing plant in western Pennsylvania.
